Working closely with the client’s management and staff, SGA
analyzes historical trends to identify areas where operations are
substandard to best practices. SGA then helps the client establish
both short-term and long-term targets for a number of operating
ratios, which lead to growth in both the top and bottom lines.
Sample Assignments:
- Regional
Business Journal: SGA rebuilt and simplified paper’s
rate card and helped establish target revenue and expense ratios.
Over a two year period the paper’s revenues grew 45% and
its profit margin went from -4% to +16%.
- City
magazine: SGA helped revise the magazine’s circulation
and rate base growth strategy, resulting in an 18% revenue increase
over two years.
